Again!

We were asked again on Sunday if Reese was a girl...I don't get people!  We were at a restaurant and the lady said girl or boy?  He was in this exact outfit...pretty girly looking, huh?  After, she didn't think he was mine and John's baby...guess it's the blonde hair!  I think he looks just like me...ha!

Sweet Tooth!

Somebody likes sweets....

Bounce House!

Friday we went to the Bounce House with Jack and Annelise!  Vita came too and took me down the big slide with her!  I got to bounce around, play in the balls, and go down the slide!  Me and Jack had more fun though chasing each other around and trying to take the ball away from one another!

Sweet!

We have been working with Reese to say Jesus and last night he said it...clear as day...Jesus!  It is so sweet to hear him say it!  We try to remember to say our prayers with him at night and read him a devotional...I love how he will listen!  Today I tried getting him to say God and he kept saying dada dada!  Not quite buddy, we will work on that!

Boy or Girl??!!

We took Buster to the vet today and while we were there the doctor asked Reese if he was a boy or a girl??  What?  I don't even think I got this when Reese was just an infant much less when he has on boy clothes!  John and Navy asked me what he was wearing and I told them his usual pink and purple stuff!  The vet said his eyes were way too pretty and blue for him to be a boy...funny!

Climbing!

Apparently this is what the doctor meant when he asked me if Reese was climbing the furniture yet....

Read Me A Story, Ha Ha!

Can We Play!

Unfortunately John and I both ended up catching Reese's tummy bug last weekend....I don't think either of us have been that sick in a very very long time!  Thankfully we had some good help with Reese and John and I were able to rest and get better and FINALLY we are all better!!!  This picture is of Reese wanting to go play when we were all sick and stuck in the house!!

Curious George!

After Reese went to the doctor he came home and watched Curious George goes to the doctor...he usually doesn't eat and sit in front of the TV but he wasn't feeling 100% so we broke the rules!  Ha!  I got him this DVD since he was sick and he loves it....he loves monkey's though and thinks Uncle Nick is definitely a monkey.  We can ask him where everyone in his family is and he will repeat their names but when it comes to Nick he does his monkey sound every time.  Tonight John and Nick walked in the door from work and Reese ran to the door saying dada dada dada but then he saw Nick and started making the monkey sound.  It is hilarious!!!

Doctor Check Up

Reese had his 15 month check up last week which was a little past due since he is pretty close to being 16 months now!  His weight and length are still in the 25% range - the doctor told me that sometimes good things come in small packages!  I think that saying is definitely true but I also still think that Reese will hit a growth spurt sooner or later!  To me and his dada he is of course 100% perfect so we don't really even worry about what the percentiles say as long as he is healthy...which he is...very healthy!  He had two shots and the nurse told me he would probably cry because they would really hurt.  Reese just stared at her on the first shot and then cried a little for the second one.  The doctor asked me how he was doing sleeping in his crib and I said perfect...yes, I know this is probably parenting 101 and you shouldn't let your baby much less toddler sleep with you but it works for us so there you go!  Although, I still get tickled because I think it is so cute going to wake up a baby and them be standing in their crib waiting on you...maybe I will experience that with our next baby!  I will pray tonight about lying to the doctor too...sometimes white lies are okay, right?  Other than that he told me next on the list is to work on the paci but not for a few more months so all is good.  The doctor also started Reese on two different kinds of allergy medicines because Reese is constantly coughing, sneezing, and always has a runny nose....so we are trying two different medicines until he is 2 and then he will have all the allergy testing done.  So far the meds seem to be working because he isn't coughing near as much!

Tummy Bug!

Here is what I get for talking to Navy and Kristi last night about how glad I was Reese had never had a stomach bug!!!  Fast forward to 2:30 in the morning and the throwing up begins!  Reese sat up in bed and started gagging, choking, and then throwing up.  The throw up went everywhere - all over him, all over the sheets, in his hair, on John, on me.  I immediately put Reese in the bath and brushed his teeth real good while John took care of the sheets and the towels.  Funny me thought this was over.  30 minutes later it started all over again.  Heather has dealt with Braylan and the tummy bug several times so I remember her telling me I needed lots of towels...oh how she was right.  Reese threw up for the next 5 hours off and on and gagged and choked every time.  He was so pitiful because he didn't know what was going on.  He just wanted me to hold him and make it go away.  He is feeling better now but only drinking water and Pedialyte.  Let's hope that the worst of it is gone and he will be back to his-self tomorrow!

Hanging Out With Uncle Wes & Aunt Marcy

Last night I had Bible Study and John was working late so Reese went over to his aunt and uncle's house!  From what I hear he put on a big show and ate a good home cooked meal!!  Apparently, he likes wearing his new boots with no pants!

Grocery Shopping!

Ooh...now grocery shopping is fun!!  Look at my new ride!

Wedding In Nashville!

Last weekend we went to Nashville for my cousin's wedding!  It was a beautiful wedding and we had such a great time!  This was the first wedding for Reese - we knew how much he loved dancing but I guess actually we really didn't know how much he loved to dance.  He was out on the dance floor just about all night and anytime we brought him back to the table he would make a dash to get back to the dance floor.  At one point John got my attention to look at Reese....he was laying in the middle of the floor just taking a little break.  It was hilarious!  If you want to check out this boys moves go to youtube.com and put in Reese Wedding Dance 2012.  You will get a huge kick out of it!
He did great during the ceremony too...he slept through it until they said their vows!
We couldn't leave Nashville without getting Reese a pair of cowboy boots so thank you Aunt Amanda for those!  Reese loves them!!!

Oh, one more funny thing.  There was a pond where you throw coins in the hotel we were staying and Big Daddy had taken Reese to throw some quarters in.  Later on when we were looking for Reese's paci we found it in the pond.  Guess he felt like he could make a wish and throw that in too!
