Daddeee!!

John went fishing in Alabama this weekend so I had to tell Reese about 100 times that he would be back on Sunday and that he was gone fishing.  He would constantly ask for daddeee, look for daddeee, yell for daddeee....it was almost pitiful how much he missed him.  I know John went on fishing trips last year but this year Reese knows when he isn't here.  On Sunday when we were getting ready for church I told him daddy would be home later and Reese looked at me and said fiiissshh.  He is so good with putting things together.  The whole weekend when Reese would hear a truck that sounded like John's he would yell for him or when a door opened he would run to the door looking and yelling for him.  So when he did get home on Sunday Reese was standing at the door waiting on him.  He went outside and had to point at John's car over and over and say daddeee daddeee...he was so happy he was finally home!!

Outside!

Since Saturday was too cold to be outside we tried to spend a lot of the day outside on Sunday!  We did all sorts of stuff!  Played ball in the yard, ran around the yard, practiced playing golf, painted daddee a picture, and played with Buster!  Reese really wasn't into painting that much because all he wanted to do was run around the yard!

Reading!

Reese is really really loving to read lately and will bring us all sorts of books anytime during the day and especially night time.  Sometimes he will sit there and listen to the whole story if he is really tired and sometimes he will flip through all the pages really quick so he can see the pages he wants to see.  He loves his animal book that shows him all the animals, loves the Train book, any touch and feel book, his Bedtime Bible Stories book, and anything that has colorful pictures.  We love reading to Reese - nothing more in the world we would rather do than lay in bed and read to him!

MeMe's Birthday!

We had a birthday party for MeMe at Aunt Marcy and Uncle Ess's house this weekend!  MeMe wanted a BIG picture of me so we got her a big picture!!  I hope MeMe had a great birthday...I always have so much fun with my MeMe!!  I know I had a lot of fun at the party playing basketball, riding around in a play stroller, dancing, and playing with the balloon Uncle Ess tied to my jeans!  I love a good party!!

Boo Boo!

We went to the park the other day and I got to play on the slides with Jack and his cousins!  We were there for a long time and then me and Jack took a nice long nap while our mama's walked.  Right before we were leaving I was chasing my mama while she was taking the trash and then I went the other way after Jack!  Before I knew it I was on the pavement...my nose caught me!  I scuffed my nose up pretty bad - I got blood all over Na Na.  My mama didn't realize I had fallen that bad but she got to me pretty quick.  Jack just patted me while I cried!  After the park mama took me to Sonic to get me a grilled cheese, french fries, and an ice-cream to make me feel better.  Then we went to Walgreen's so we could get some stuff for my boo boo!

Nana's 80th Birthday Party

Last week my Great Nana turned 80 so we had a little party for her on Sunday!  I love my Great Nana...she colors with me, works puzzles with me, and cuddles me when I sleep sometimes!  She still calls me a girl and tells me all the time that one day I will have a sister!  I love her and hope she had the best birthday yet!

Basketball With Daddy and Bop!

I love to play basketball on the stairs at Bop's house!  Bop stands at the bottom of the stairs and shoots it to me and then I shoot it back.  We do this all the time when I go over there.  After we played I went and watched the snow...too bad it didn't stick!  I was wanting to play outside!

Back To The Park!

We went back to the park on Saturday with Daddy!  He is fun to play with at the park!  He took me down all the big slides and we even went down a slide that we almost got stuck on!  I have so much fun with my daddy! 

Ear Infection!

Reese kept pulling at his ear Friday night so Saturday we woke up and went straight to the doctor (thankfully our doctor was there on Saturday).  He took one look at Reese's ear and saw an infection in his left ear.  He is once again back on an antibiotic!  His doctor said he will watch this and if Reese has another ear infection he will think about putting tubes in his ear.  We hope not but we will see.

Park Day!

Playing at the park with Jack...we went down the slide and played with a ball!  It was so pretty outside and a great day to spend at the park! 

Peeps!

I saw mommeee throw away my peeps (snowmen marshmellows) today from Christmas!  I just helped myself and went and got them from the trash!  They were hard as a brick so I took one bite and then threw them back away!

Valentine's Night!

 

Mommeee and Daddeee got me my lawnmower for Valentine's Day and the Alvin & Chipmunks Valentine DVD!  So that night we all got to watch it...I love those chipmunks; they are so funny!  Mommeee made me a heart shaped grilled cheese sandwich and daddeee brought us all home some cupcakes!  He was looking for me a new ball since I'm obsessed with balls but he said he thought I would enjoy the cupcakes more...I think he was right!
