Ollie Has Arrived!

Oliver....aka Ollie showed up at our house tonight!  Apparently, Santa had heard that Reese had been throwing all his food at the dinner table so he decided to send one of his elves down from the North Pole to get things straightened out before Christmas!
Ollie will make sure Reese eats his food instead of throwing it!  We put Ollie right over his high chair for tonight - you are supposed to move him every day but for right now our biggest challenge is the high chair so he might be staying there a few days!

Talking??!!!

I have no picture for this one - just wanted to blog about all the words Reese just started saying in the past week or two.  It is unreal to us that he is comprehending so much and putting words with objects and actually saying them.  He tries to repeat everything we are saying  - lots of times it is exactly what we say and sometimes he is trying so hard!  We are now trying to really watch what we say around him - we would rather him not say something he shouldn't one day at church!  :)  Here are some of his words!
Dada, Mama, dog, Buster, (he can also bark like the dogs when he hears them...impressive, ha), MeMe, Gam, Ga Ga, duck, ball, oh wow, uh oh, bye, he said his name yesterday but it was more like aaaheese, he says Jack but it is more like ack, gobble gooble, trying to work on ho ho ho but he makes monkey sounds instead.  I know there are more - he just keeps surprising us with the words he can say!

My Chair

Finally....my chair was moved right where I can watch a little cartoons and my Christmas movies!

Hanging My Ornament

When we got home Dada helped me hang my ornament on the tree!  I love all these fun Christmas activities!  Mama just knew I would!!

Fantasy of Trees!

We took Reese to the Fantasy of Trees this weekend - the trees were gorgeous!  Reese did some of the children's activites while we were there - he made us a hand print potholder (that looks nothing like his hand) and a thumbprint Rudolph ornament!  Nonna took him in The Secret Santa Shop for mine and John's Christmas present that we will open on Christmas Day! Reese also rode the carousel and found a little girl that was cute so he gave her a hug!  Thank you Aunt Amanda and Uncle Josh for the free tickets - we had a lot of fun!

My Pony

Boone is like my very own pony!  He usually doesn't have much to do with me but the other day he let me take a little ride on him!  He is a funny dog - he is so scared of me but I love him and get so excited to see him!

Elf On The Shelf

Tonight we watched Elf On The Shelf - Mama told me what that was all about and how she is getting me an elf to sit on our shelves to make sure I am a good boy for Santa!

Getting Stuck!

Maybe my toy bin is too big for me because sometimes when I reach in to grab my toy I get stuck - I make all kinds of noises until someone gets me out!  Of course mama thought it was so funny she first grabbed her camera and then got me out!

Giving Buster Treats!

Thanksgiving With Big Daddy & MeMe

Gobble Gobble....time for more food!  I got to feed myself the second round of food too!  I was a complete mess again so I got another bath when I was done eating!  This time I made sure to rub deviled eggs all in my hair just to make sure they didn't try to just wipe me off - I love a full blown bath!  I definitely threw more food this time around than what hit my mouth!  After dinner - I put on a show for everyone!  Mama's cousin (which is my second cousin) gave me his I phone to listen to music on and show off some of my dance moves!  There were so many people there so I had a big audience!  After all that turkey I went straight to sleep and cuddled up with Big Daddy for the rest of the night!  I can't wait to next year - there is nothing like Thanksgiving food!

P.S....Mama wants to type now!
This is hard to believe this was Reese's second Thanksgiving and how different last year was!  We have so much to be thankful for and know how blessed we are!

Thanksgiving with Nonna (GaGa), Pop, & Gam Gam

We had Thanksgiving lunch with Dada's family and Gam Gam!  The food was so good...Nonna spent a whole day teaching me to say gobble gobble and now I can say it!!  I got to feed myself because lately I am getting to the point where I think I can do it all by myself!  There was an incident at the table that mama would probably like to forget - I threw my bowl and was told not to do that and I got my feelings hurt so I held my breath (everyone agreed this was the longest ever).  I turned a shade of purple and was probably about a second away from passing out!  It scared Gam Gam to death - it doesn't even phase dada's family since my dada did the same thing when he was little!  After I held my breath I took a bath because I was a mess and then took a Thanksgiving Day nap!  Later on my cousins came by and I got to play with them!  I even got to see Naomie - isn't she so pretty!  I didn't like anyone holding her because it is usually all about me!!  After this it was on to Meme's and Big Daddy's for round two!
