Bad Game!

I even wore my favorite jersey and we still couldn't pull off a win! Maybe one day me and Jack will play for the VOLS and show them how to win a ball game! Until then we will just keep staring at each other and playing with each others feet!

Grammy's Birthday

My momma had me dressed and ready to go and then I decided to poop all over my nice clean shirt!

We went to eat for Grammy's birthday yesterday at our favorite spot - El Charro's! I got to meet my Great Aunt Sue, Great Uncle David and some more of my cousins! It was such a good time! By the end of the night I was exhausted - I am still worn out from Christmas! I came home and slept in my bouncer (because my daddy wrapped me up in a blanket and I didn't realize no one was holding me). They even put me in my bassinet to sleep - man when I'm tired I just pass out! I slept until 10 this morning! I finally feel all nice and rested and have been playing with my rattles all morning!

Reese finally woke up to eat and was ready to see everybody when it was time to go home!

My first friend - my teddy bear!

Pooped again!

We will never forget Reese's first Christmas and how special it was! He was a busy little baby going to see all of his family!
We started Christmas Eve out at John's Grandmom and Granddad's and had a great afternoon! Then we went to church - he was awake for about the first five minutes (enough time to see Jack) and then passed out for the rest of the service. We were glad he slept there so he was awake to see my family on Christmas Eve. He was in the best mood then and even showed everyone his big smile! Then we went to see John's family and he was over it at this point - he had had enough.
On Christmas morning we went to my parents bright and early and again he was in a great mood (and shockingly sat in his bouncer with out being held for a while). Then we did Christmas back at our house with Grammy and he was still fine. After that back to my parents house for Christmas again with Aunts and Uncles and he was really over it at this point. He fussed for a good while and then took a nice long nap!
We finally got to see John's mom and dad the next day and he was good for the most part!
I guess we never realized how dragging Reese all over the place would really just wear him out (and us too) - now we know!
However, Christmas was more special than it has ever been for us and one we will never forget - even with all the fussing! He is one special little guy and has made the best holiday even better for all of us!
There are so many gifts that Reese received and we know he will enjoy all of them! He got lots of toys and clothes, his very first golf putter with his name and birth date engraved, his first teddy bear, a lifetime fishing license, and John got him a Build A Bear gift card so today we took him and got him a stuffed dog which we originally named Brown Dog . He also got lots of money - which will one day be put to good use! Now we are trying to figure out where all these new toys will go!

Christmas Party

Getting good and clean for his big party!

Reese got to go to another Christmas Party last night! My dad called me when Reese was probably just 3 or 4 weeks old to see if they could take him to his company's Christmas Party this weekend. I know they were so excited to get to take Reese out and show him off! It was definitely a weird feeling to put Reese in the car with them and for us to be at home without him for a few hours!
He got to sit on Santa's lap again and this time he liked him - go figure!
