Funny Stuff

This is just funny so I wanted to blog about it so we will remember. Reese has started a new thing this week...it's called coughing!!! No no...he isn't sick, not sick at all but he has heard us cough so he has been imitating us. At first I thought maybe he was getting a little sick and said something to John yesterday about it. Angie has been keeping Reese and she informed us that babies do this...once they catch on to something and realize they can cough just like we can they don't stop. So now Reese is coughing...if we all start talking he starts coughing. Funny guy...I think someone likes a little attention!

The Zoo

Reese and his killer stare...

John got Reese and I tickets to the zoo for our Valentine's gifts so we took him last Saturday. I'm sure that is the first of many many trips to the zoo! We had a great time and we think Reese did too! We would show him the animals and he would stare at them. I think his favorite part was taking a nice long nap while getting strolled around.

Me & My Buddy Jack!

I love Jack!!!!!!!! We are finally getting to where we notice each other and I just love to stare at him. He got mad at me the other day for touching his toys but we made up! He was just having a rough day...it's okay Jack, I will have plenty of those too! Jack came over the other night and he played in the jumper while I played in my activity center right next to him. Then I got really tired even though all I wanted to do was play with him so I fussed a little while and then went sound asleep on my momma! I can't wait to play again soon!

Hanging Out With Mommy

There is nothing more that I look forward to than Thursday and Friday so I can hang out with Reese all day! I love to get to stay home with him and play with him and get to take him on walks! We have really enjoyed this week with the warm weather and can't wait until Reese is old enough to put him a big swing set in the back yard! This weather is giving us all spring fever and getting to do stuff outside with Reese is so much fun!

Momma's Dreams Came True!

Thanks Uncle Wes for letting me see how my mom can be a little on the crazy side when it comes to Phillip Fulmer - apparently this is her dream man even though my daddy tells me that he was not his favorite coach and it was time for a change! I think I remember heated arguments about Coach Fulmer when I was in my momma's belly! Anyhow, mom loves him and Uncle Wes gave her a call after work and told her that he was signing autographs at the mall for a donation to Children's Hospital. I was lying there all snuggled up with Aunt Marcy and Grammy and mom comes whipping through there like a flash of lightening and puts my jersey on me and puts me in the car seat! She was in such a hurry she didn't even put a blanket on me - if I get sick daddy try not to hold it over momma's head too long! We made it to the mall just in time for Coach Fulmer to take a few pictures with me and some with me and mom and even sign my favorite jersey (which is going to be framed)! Aunt Marcy came to the mall too and made sure to snap some great pictures of something that was very exciting and special!
Even though Coach Fulmer isn't my dad's favorite he did think it was pretty awesome that I got to meet him and get my jersey signed - A Future Vol!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Reese hopes everyone had a great Valentine's Day! He sure did - he joined us for dinner at El Charro's! Reese got some cute Valentine books, a Leap Frog, and some money for his piggy bank for this special LOVE day! He was definitely my little Valentine this year!

Just Relaxing!

4 Months Old

Taking a nap on Great Pap!

Let's see what all have you been up to this past month! It is amazing to us how much you change every day and how you pick up on something else!
-You love to be standing up on our laps now - you no longer want to sit - you've got legs and you want to use them! You love to stand up and bounce around on us.
-You stand and play in your activity center every day and have pretty much figured out how to play with all the toys on it.
-You constantly stare at Boone and Buster now when they walk by - if they get your attention you will not take your eyes off of them.
-Your sweet little coos have turned in to LOUD squeals
-You laugh, grin, and smile now all the time - especially when someone new gets in your face. You haven't met a stranger yet!
-You can grab on to your toys and rattles now and move them around - you grab everything with your left hand. We aren't sure when you know what hand a baby will be dominant with but we think it's interesting that you always use your left hand. Your daddy likes this because he says left handed people have pretty golf swings.
-You have definitely noticed the TV (sorry nonna)...we turn the cartoons on and you love to jabber away to the TV and squeal with excitement.
-You love taking baths - which is nice because I give you one all the time. You generally tend to smell like pee a lot!
-You have had rice cereal 3 nights now and it has yet to get you to sleep through the night.
-If you get a hold of our fingers or anyone's fingers for that matter they go straight to your mouth - actually this just isn't fingers - anything you get your hands on now goes to your mouth.
-You love looking at your feet and trying to get those in your mouth too.
-You have rolled over several times now - back to tummy and tummy to back.
-You love to be read to and even helped me turn the pages the other day - not actually but you did grab all the pages and turn them over.
-You still love the fan but now there is so much more that has your attention.
-You still love to cuddle to sleep but when you aren't sleeping you want to be up standing and playing.

Crazy that 4 months have gone by so quickly - we love you so much and get so excited to see all the new things you keep doing.
