Hilton Head - 1st Day!

We got to Hilton Head last night too late for Reese to go down to the beach.  On the way here we were telling him all the things that would be in the ocean and he would repeat everything we said..things like baracuda, dolphins, sharks, fish.  He kept saying beach beach beach.  When we got down to the beach this morning he wasn't sure about the sand touching his feet - funny that all he wanted to do last May was eat it.  After a few minutes he was fine with it and headed for the ocean.  There isn't one time that John or I sat down today except for when he took a nap.  He ran back and forth all day to the wa wa (water).  He loved running through the water and falling down.  We went to the pool for a while to cool off because it was so hot and then back to the beach for more running.  Everyone on the beach kept telling us he would be worn out tonight - he definitely is and so are we!

We have had a lot of showings on our house lately and sometimes instead of getting in the car and going somewhere we just walk over to Wes and Marcy's backyard!  Reese can run all over the place in there and get lots of energy out!  We love sitting on their deck too!

Going to see Grayton!

Me and Jack went to see Grayton last week and every toy that he had we fought over...we are both really into the word mine!!!  Grayton just slept through all of our silliness!  He is so cute!

Happy Birthday Scott!

We had a surprise 40th Birthday party for my cousin last week!  My eyes look a little scary in that second picture!

New Orleans Wedding!

These are the only pictures I took from the gorgeous wedding!  Reese went to sleep about 30 minutes after the reception started and I just forgot all about taking pictures!  It was such a fun weekend and we definitely had one tired little boy!

Swimming!

Before the wedding on Sunday Reese got to play around at the hotel!  He loved the fountain in the courtyard and loved getting in the water!  He is like wrestling a small alligator!  He is all over the place in the water and wants to swim on his own!  I finally convinced John to let him go and see what he would do and he went under...he of course loved it though and wanted t keep doing it!

Music on the Bayou!

After the zoo we took blankets down to the bayou and listened to music and ate lots of good New Orleans style food!  Reese got to run around and play with other kids that were there and do some dancing!  It was a very busy day for him and by the time we left the bayou he was sound asleep!
