Play Date!

Last week we met Braylan, Carly, Chloe, and Jack for a play date! Chloe is still too little to actually play but it was good to see her - she seems like she is a very good newborn! We met at Bounce USA - Braylan wasn't much for hanging out with the boys but she finally came around a little when we went to Chick Fil A and let them played! This was a good play date because it wore them all out! Navy and I were asked at Chick Fil A (this being the second time someone has asked this) if Jack and Reese are twins! This cracks us up - these two couldn't look more opposite - like we said they wouldn't even pass for distant cousins! People are funny!

Toilet Paper

I was getting ready the other day and this happened to be the only thing that could keep Reese happy and entertained while I took 15 minutes for myself! I don't care that it caused a huge mess - if it gives me a little time than he can play with all the toilet paper he wants! I couldn't help but crack up at him - he knew he shouldn't be doing what he was doing - he even kept trying to shut the door on me when I was trying to take pictures - then I looked at him and he was putting some of it in the trash can! He cracks us up every.single.day!

Don't Tell Me No

I don't like to be told "no" or "uh uh" or when you change your tone of voice to tell me not to do something. This is usually what ends up happening when you do! Mama told me not to go over and mess with Boone and this is how that played out! I got over it pretty quickly though and handed mama a "a da"...my word for ball!

A New Sippy Cup

We can't get Reese to drink out of a sippy cup for anything - he will act like he is but it usually ends up being thrown. I think we found one more his style - he loved this and kept trying to get water out of it!

Mac & Cheese & A Bath

We are letting Reese feed himself more and more so last night he got a bowl full of maccaroni. He ate most of it and Buster cleaned up what Reese decided to throw on the floor- I couldn't imagine not having a dog, Buster is a mop and a broom all in one! After he ate he was covered in cheese - all over his face and all over his belly!

Walking!

We took a walk at Lake Shore last week...it was way too hot so I'm excited about the weather this week so we can hopefully get in a routine of walking again! Reese seems to enjoy his stroller when we are outside walking...I don't understand why he cries though in the stroller at the mall after an hour! He needs to work on that - since after all I am typically shopping for him!

El Charro's

We went to El Charro's last week since it is our favorite and John was going out of town for the weekend so we figured we might as well get a good meal in! I gave Reese rice and beans and let him feed himself - not sure how much he ate since the floor was covered in rice when were leaving! I did offer to sweep the floor (Navy tells me I only do this because I know the waiter wouldn't really let me do this...ha ha...I do think he thought about letting me though, it was a disaster)!
