Yesterday Reese had to go to the doctor because he hasn't been feeling too great which I am sure is a mix of a lot of things....traveling, 2 teeth coming in, the weather changing, and everything he can get his hands on goes straight to his mouth which brings me to my next story! After the doctor we stopped by Big Daddy's office so he could come outside and see Reese for just a minute! It was a 5 minute drive there and I'm so glad we did this! My dad was holding Reese and kept telling me there was something in his mouth - I brushed it off and said it was his teeth! My dad said no there is definitely something in there so I took a look and he had wads of neon green paper in his mouth. I looked in his carseat and there was a rattle so I had no idea what the paper was. After we left I realized Reese had been banging on my wallet so I just left it in his carseat for him to play with. My aunt had written me a note that I had kept in my wallet several years ago that Reese not only managed to get out of my wallet but to also stuff it in his mouth! I'm so glad we went by there - it's things like that that remind me of how God is always watching over us and had us make an unplanned stop so Reese didn't get choked and swallow the paper!
Reese also tried a teething biscuit last night - he loved it but he was not ready for it!! He got a little choked so we will wait another month on giving him those. Poor guy - he had a tough day!
