11 Months Old!

This is of course very hard to believe that Reese is so close to turning 1! Everybody always says time will fly by but I guess I always just kind of hoped that was just what people said - I didn't know it was very true! You are becoming such a big boy and it is so fun to watch you grow!

-All of the sudden a few days shy of turning 11 months old you started taking steps - you had been taking 1 or 2 and then falling down but now you are taking 6 or 7 ten times a day! I know now it will only be a matter of weeks before you are a walker! I think your new skill surprises you too! You just kind of look at us like what is going on here!

-You cruise around all the furniture until you get to what you are needing and now that you are trying to walk you walk between the couches to go from me to your daddy!

-You still get your feelings hurt so easy - it breaks your grandparents heart but it makes us laugh because you are just so darn cute when you cry!

-You are trying to say words - you say mama, dada, a da (ball), you point to Buster and Boone - I think you call them "a da" too.

-You are a big time hand clapper - you clap at everything and anything. Even when you don't do anything you just start clapping and bouncing up and down! If we say Patty Cake Reese you will start clapping immediately! It is so cute!

-You will wave bye bye and your nonna even taught you to wave bye when she says adios! Smart boy!

-You love to be outside at the lake, in the pool, on a walk, or just playing in the grass!

-You still will eat just about anything - there have been a few things you didn't care for like last night we made you green beans; you wanted nothing to do with them.

-You love itsy bitsy spider and to be read to - although, you also really like to open and close the books 100 times when we are reading them to you!

-If we let you you would climb our stairs 50 times a day - you get the biggest kick out of doing this. You will look back to make sure we are all watching, clap a few times and climb some more!

-The church nursery is not your favorite place to be anymore but I do think this is getting a little bit better. When we drop you off you ball your eyes out and sometimes have to be taken to another room because you won't stop crying! It is pretty pitiful but I know the ladies in there are so sweet and they take care of you.

You have a huge personality and crack us up with everything you do! We love you so much and can't believe that in just one month you will be a year old!
