Obviously Reese is too young for this toy car but I saw it on Ashlea's blog and felt like Reese needed it too...John told me to quit looking at other blogs. Ha Ha!
I know we say it every month but it definitely seems like this last month just flew by. Every month you change so much and start to do all sorts of new things. Here are a few of them...
-We talked about your coughing earlier this month - you are over that now because you have found out that you love to blow bubbles. You just sit there and constantly blow bubbles which leads to a whole lot of drool.
-You are very interested in all of your toys now. We got your Jeep Walker out and you play in it the longest (thanks Ben & Kristi). You crack us up because you move the steering wheel around and check your blind spots just like you are supposed to. It's so fun to watch you interact with all of these toys and try to figure them all out.
-You seem to have a little bit of a destructive side when you are playing with your toys. You are hilarious to watch because you bang everything that you can get your hands on.
-You have started to laugh out loud and we love to hear it. You love to hear me sing Hey Good Looking and Reese Reese Bo Beese Banana Fanna....and so on. Those two songs get you to laugh about every time but now you like me to be dancing and singing at the same time - that really gets you laughing. You also laugh when your daddy plays air plane with you - that cracks you up.
-You notice everything that goes on around you and will look around the room when you hear someone talking.
-I think I read somewhere that a baby knows their name around a year old - that can't be true. Your daddy yelled Bill the other night at you and you didn't turn around but when he called out Reese you looked for him. Smart baby!
-You still love your hands to be in your mouth at all times and try to get your feet in there when you get the chance.
-You are always waving your hands up and down to beat on our hands or our legs or whatever you can. We call you little mike (Mike Tyson) because you are always punching at the covers.
-Your sleeping habits have definitely digressed!!! You started out as the best sleeper but now you just get so squirmy and want to nurse. We have been saying maybe you are teething but I just think you don't like sleep anymore.
-In the past month you have slept a total of 1 hour in your bassinet...we are making progress! Ha! Eventually you are going to your crib little man but for now you just sleep with us.
-You absolutely love your cereal and get so excited for it - we are excited for you to try fruits and veggies next month!
Since this happened today I will throw this in there. We went to Sunday School and Church this morning and who forgot the diaper bag? Yup...I sure did. So you didn't get to go to the nursery with your friends you went with us because we had no blanket, diapers, milk, anything!! Thankfully we did have your paci! You did great during Sunday School and halfway through church but when the singing ended and the sermon began you got really tired and fussy! Lesson learned...I will not forget the diaper bag again!!
You amaze us everyday with how much you learn and just how fun you are to watch. We constantly tell each other that we never knew how much you could really love somebody. We can't wait to see what the next month has in store for you!
