Waiting to see the doctor!
Look at those rolls on those legs! This is after his nose was suctioned!
Waiting on shots!
After the shots!
This is during the "explosion"
He took a nice long nap - he was worn out!
We went for Reese's 2 month check up yesterday and that meant shots! Like I said before I was dreading this appointment - I hated to see him cry. When we got there the nurse asked if she could clean out his nose with the suction thing (not sure what that is called) - he is breathing so much better now but he hated every second of that - he was screaming like crazy and his face turned blood red. Whenever John or I use this thing we are pretty gentle - she was not but I know she knows what she is doing! So the appointment didn't start out so great! Then he got weighed and measured - he is 11 lb. 11 oz. and 23 inches long - both in the 75th percentile! Growing boy! After that came the shots - he screamed again and I of course turned the other way. I hate shots myself so definitely couldn't watch him get 3! After the shots I fed him and he was so happy again - just smiling away! As much as getting shots stinks for a baby I'm sure they forget all about them real quick!
The doctor said he is as healthy as can be and growing just like he should.
After the appointment we came home and Uncle Wes and Aunt Marcy brought the best dinner over! As some of you know Reese likes to save up his poops and goes about every 2-3 days (as Navy says - when he goes he really goes)! Wes was holding him and there it came! I always crack up when someone is holding Reese and he poots and they are for sure he is pooping on them. Oh no - trust me you know when it's the real thing! Wes froze and I told him where the diapers were - ha! I took care of it of course and Reese was a very happy camper the rest of the night!
