Hilton Head - Day 5

Reese woke up feeling MUCH better - he still has a rash on his bottom but he was back to acting like himself so that was good! We woke up and took a long walk on the beach then a long bike ride! Reese is getting plenty of naps in...he sleeps on his stroller rides and on the bike rides! Tough life he has! It was a cloudy day which was nice because Reese needed to stay out of the water for a day to help his rash go away. He helped his pap make banana pudding which Reese loves!! We all thought Reese deserved a little treat since he wasn't feeling so great last night! He is making a new face in some of these pictures - not sure where it came from but he scrunches up his face and looks hilarious.

Hilton Head - Day 4

Another great day today at the beach! Reese loves chasing the birds and points them out when he sees them. He had so much fun today playing on the beach! However, late tonight he has come down with a little bit of a virus. We went to eat and came back and changed his diaper and it smelled awful - a smell I have never smelled before. Then we looked at his bottom and he was covered in welts. He started crying pretty bad and did not want his bottom touched. I called the doctor while John ran out to get him some butt cream. The doctor thinks he may have a touch of a virus - I was concerned about him having a little bit of a milk allergy since we just started giving him some whole milk but the doctor didn't seem to think that was it. He was so pitiful - thankfully, he has been sleeping for the past couple of hours. We could all tell he was not feeling well because Reese goes non stop and is always ready to play and tonight he wasn't. I hope he is all better in the morning!

Hilton Head - Day 3

Who doesn't wake up at the beach and eat their jelly english muffin in your diaper with your cowboy boots on? Another beautiful...HOT day at the beach! We walked, went to the nude beach...ha ha, rode bikes, and had a great dinner!! Reese is having a blast and entertaining all of us!

Hilton Head - Day 2

We had a mission today at the beach and that was to find Reese a new pair of shoes since he is a walker now! We got our shopping done, rode bikes and headed to the beach! We got smart this time...instead of getting Reese a seat to go on the back of the bike we got him a little trailer to ride in! That means he doesn't have to wear a helmet so we have one happy bike rider! We went to dinner tonight and Reese missed most of that - he fell asleep on the bike ride down and woke up at the end.
