Cole!

Here is a little update on Cole!  We went for his one month check up last week and he is 7lb 8oz...that was last week...he is definitely more than that now because he eats like a champ!  He is exactly like Reese was a baby...loves to be held!  On occasion he will stay in his swing for a little while but it isn't much!  Reese is absolutely loving his little brother so much...it is so sweet!
He is already starting to coo and smile quite a bit when he is awake.  He is a sweet sweet baby!

Paint!

 

We should have known these two were up to no good when they were in the bonus room and we couldn't hear them.  The paint was out and they had their fun with it!  Not only were they covered but so was our carpet and our walls...and not to mention we hadn't even been living in our house for a week yet!  Thank goodness it all came out!  And the paint has now been put up!

Nola's Birthday!

A few week's ago we celebrated Nola's first birthday!  It was a fun party in the backyard on a fall night!  Reese and his buddies played in the yard and rode his truck around.  They were cracking us up and looking at these pictures makes me think of all the trouble they will probably all get into in the years to come!

Here are some random pictures over the past week or so of us adjusting to life with 2 kids!
Life is good right now - Reese is awesome and Cole is growing just like he should!  Cole does a whole lot of sleeping and a whole lot of eating and that is life for him right now!  Reese is loving being the big brother and always on call to grab the diapers and wipes for us.  We were at Home Depot yesterday and the cashier asked Reese if he was the big brother and he was all shy at first and then he made sure to tell her that he is the one who gets the diapers!  I heard him telling kids at chick fil a the other day that he has a little brother.  He is very proud and so far hasn't shown a single bit of jealousy!  However, he does love to act like a baby and get in the bouncer and bassinet!

Circle G Ranch

We took Reese and Cole to see the animals last week - it was a perfect way to get out of the house without having to get out of the car!  Reese cracks up at these animals and loves rolling the window up and down to feed them.  He is like Nonna and I though...he doesn't like to touch the animals - we just throw the food out of the window real fast and then roll it back up.
He thought it was so funny that the zebra was chewing on the mirror and that nonna rolled down the wrong window and the ostrich was headed for Cole!
After that we went to Reese's favorite place...chick fil a!

Golfing!

Last week John decided he was over work so he took Reese golfing with Nick.  Reese LOVES playing golf and is actually really really good at it to only be almost 3 years old!  We hope this is a sport he will play all through school - guess we will see!  When I told Reese his daddy was coming home to get him to play golf he went and gathered all his golf clubs!
After that they went to eat Mexican!
